My Story

I was homeschooled my entire life until college​, where I went to Regent University a private, christian school in Virginia Beach. I graduated in 2021 with a degree in English, communications and art. From there I began teaching with Courtney Sanford at Delightful Art Co (delighfulartco.com) in 2021, and I am still going strong! My online classes I offer are with Delightful Art Co, and I also offer some higher level in-person options.

I began my art journey in high school with pencil drawings and found a love of acrylic paint in college. I particularly love realistic artwork, intricate details, and shading! I am drawn to nature and the beautiful world we live in. God is the ultimate artist, and attempting to replicate His creation is one of her favorite pastimes.

I am is passionate about fostering creativity in my students and showing them that art is for everyone, all it takes is practice! As a very creative person, I see beauty in everything around me, from nature, to animals, to the complex individuality of people! Inspiring, educating, and getting to know my students individually brings me tremendous amounts of joy!

I also love creating art on my own. Recently I have enjoyed painting flowers, and am excited to continue growing my abilities. In 2023 I was able to do 3 murals and that sparked a huge desire in my to continue down that path. We will see where the Lord takes me!

I live in Willow Springs, North Carolina with my husband Josiah who is studying law at Campbell University. I love him so so much, and am proud of him everyday.
