Murals
I've loved adding murals to my repertoire of skills. Generally, I charge by the hour, approximately $30 an hour. Other costs include any supplies purchased for the mural. I try to keep things as affordable as possible. The drive time, as well as intricacy and difficulty factor into the overall cost.
Woodland Nursery Mural
This mural took about 35 hours over 2 months. For this one, I painted a canvas of the mural first so the owners could approve the design and always have a copy to keep. I also painted the entire wall a soft green before adding the scene on top.
Mountain Nursery Mural
This mural was deceivingly tricky. It took about 15 hours, but it was for my nephew, so it was worth it! The Blueridge Mountains were my inspiration.
Teen Room Mural
Probably my favorite so far! It took 10 hours, and was quick and easy! My clients' children helped which was a fun, and educational experience! It's a great way to spice up a space and create a vibe for the room.
